Free training by appointment only during the sprimg, summer and fall season for players sixteen years old or older any day of the week from sunrise to sunset. Children younger then 16 may visit the course in Saturday afternoons or on Sundays together with parents or adult supervisors and by appointment only. The course is located on industrial property.
Course is available for community fundraisers.

The President of USPMGA Robert Detwiler along with his great staff is bringing USPMGA to the new hights by involving more players and more course owners and exposing USPMGA events to Nationally recognized media like NBC News and Show "Liars and Legends" which you can view yourself visiting USPMGA website www.usprominigolfassn.com . Robert Detwiler is also WMF Representative for North and South Americas.
Training Center Coordinator Astra Miglane- Stanwyck, Executive Vice President of USPMGA and a member of USPMGA Technical Comittee, graduate of Medical Academy of Latvia, Doctor Ophthalmologist, is a member of the United States Minigolf Team and has been playing minigolf since 1993. In 1994 she was the first female player who represented Latvia in International tournament- European Championship in Thessaloniki, Greece. She has participated in World Championships as Latvia Team member in 1995 and 1997. Astra has participated and won several tournaments in Baltic States. In 1996 she moved to USA and since 2000 is actively participating in tournaments in US. Astra is 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003,2004, 2005 & 2006, 2007, 2008 US Open Minigolf Championship Women's Champion, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 Masters National Minigolf Championship Women's Champion, runner up in 2001 US Open Championship Open Division, 3rd place in 2008 US Open Open division, winner of 2001 and 2002, 2005 Team USA Tournaments, 4th place in 2005 Master's National Championship Open Division. She represented USA in 2001, 2003,2005, 2007 World Championships and 2002, 2004, 2006 7 2008 European Championship. 4th place in 2001 Black Minigolf Open Tournament in Usti Nad Labem, Czech Republik, 7th place in 2nd International 3D- Hallencup. Astra holds USA records for best round on eternite course- 20 points, on betong course- 30 points and felt course- 32 points, record best average tournament score for combination of betong and eternite- 29.50. Together with Danny McCaslin she holds course record of 51 points set during tournament play in Fantasia Gardens Fairways, Orlando Florida 5-9-04. 1st place Grand Country Open 2005. ILX Premiere Open 2005 2nd place. Prairieville Park Open 2005- 2008 winner, Red Putter Pro 2005and 2006 Winner and new Red Putter course record, 4th place in USPMGA Master's 2005 Minigolf Championship Open division. Grand Country Open September 2006, April 2007- 2nd place, Grand Country Open April 2006- 3rd plac,e winner Grand Country Open September 2007, 3rd- spring 2008, 3rd- Sept. 2008. Illinois State Open 2008- winner. 2nd place - Lucky Putters Open Open division, first- Women's division. Putt for Red Cross 2008- 2nd place. Team USA Tournament, October 2007- 1st place. National ranking in Open division- 1st in 2006, 2007 2008. World ranking- December 2007- 42nd.
Team USA Minigolf Training Center is located on industrial property and therefore is open by appointment only for players 16 years old or older. Children younger then 16 may visit the course with their parents, teachers or group leaders on Saturday afternoons or Sundays but also by appointment only.

Beginner- players can find some advice in the website's Beginners page and ask questions to experienced USPMGA Tour players in the Minigolf Forum by following the link at the top of the page. USPMGA National events offer Open, Junior (12 and under), Senior , Ladies and Amateur divisions therefore you can get involved in the sport as a family. Junior, Senior, Ladies and Amateur division does not require prequalification. You can look up Tour events in your state visiting Tour events page and start your competitve minigolf life closer to home.
